NVQ level 3 course is advanced and aimed at those students who already hold a level 2 certificate.

Although this is not a prerequisite, you can obtain your level 3 qualifications without holding a full level 2 qualification. However you will need facial diploma as a minimum in order to carry out level 3 electrical. For employability it is better to have both level 2 and level 3.

This course offers the full Beauty Therapy NVQ qualification which is nationally recognised by all employers within the industry – (VTCT)

Beauty Therapy Level 3 – Beginners (inc VTCT L2 Facial Skin Care & Massage) allows students who do not currently possess a Beauty Therapy Level 2 qualification to complete Beauty Therapy Level 3 course.  This course incorporates the VTCT Level 2 in Facial Skin Care which is a prerequisite for Facial Electrical Treatments. Students will be required to attend the training centre for practical and assessment days.  Students will be required to complete the coursework and assignments at home.

VTCT Level 4 Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) £1,199.00

VTCT level 4 course is advanced and aimed at those students who already hold a level 3 certificate. Although this is not a prerequisite, you can obtain your level 4 qualifications without holding a full level 3 qualification. However, For employability and insurance, it is better to have both. It is known that most insurance companies will not insure you without level 3 NVQ.

This course offers the full VTCT Level 4 Laser/IPL qualification which is nationally recognized by all employers within the industry. The course covers management of security in the salon, health and safety, client care and communication, Laser and IPL hair removal and skin rejuvenation to enable you to treat the following – wrinkle reduction, rejuvenation, photo-rejuvenation, thread veins, pigmentation and hair removal covering many areas of the face and body.

Prerequisites: Level 4 Laser

To obtain VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Certificate in Laser Tattoo Removal, you need to learn 4 units and pass an external exam which are:

1. Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies
2. Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies
3. Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies
4. Remove or fade tattoos using Q Switched Laser systems
5. Practical Exam by VTCT/ITEC examinor

Who is this qualification for?

The VTCT (ITEC) Level 5 Certificate in Laser Tattoo Removal is an advanced therapy qualification aimed at level 4 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add this therapy to their repertoire of treatment offerings.

Learners are required to hold a level 4 laser and IPL qualification to progress onto level 5 tattoo removal. Learners who hold a level 3 beauty therapy qualification or equivalent will be able to access the level 4 laser and IPL qualifications as a natural progression route.

Why is this qualification the most suitable?

This qualification is one of a new suite of level 5 advanced aesthetic therapies developed as a progression route for level 4 practitioners wishing to add to their repertoire in specific treatment modalities.

What could this qualification lead to?
